The innovation, technology and commercializing center at FZA is the proper area for researchers, technologists, and entrepreneurs. It is one of the key Applied Science and Technology centers focusing on spreading applied and fundamental studies. FZA center aims to satisfy scientific-industrial needs and extend innovation and employment in society.

Therefore, it tries to upgrade the scientific, intellectual, and skill-related bases for the students, in order to play an effective role in society. The objective of the Innovation center is to fulfill the goals and missions of Applied Science and Technology University, form a partnership, and evolve motivation and interest in the innovative students and graduates.

Here, we care about encouraging entrepreneurship mentality in the students to enter labor market, using their abilities, skills, and talents. FZA university develops the situation for the students to benefit from services provided by different organizations and also persuades the spirit of teamwork among the students.

The main duties at the office are as follows:

 - Investigating, formulating, and collecting findings and experiences in the field of commercializing and relating them to industry.

 - Making proper decisions about establishing technologic bases in the planning center for the expansion and commercialization at the university and also the transfer of technology to the university

According to the examples of scientific and technologic production, the main topics in the strategic planning of the university would be the following:

 - Expanding the necessary infrastructures needed to support "Idea to Product" process

- Establishing the connection between investors and idea-owners, which would help to complete the cycle of changing ideas to wealth, selling invented products, helping to develop idea to phenomenon, and technologic products leading to wealth

 - Initiating flexible administrative structures to identify and spread technology and manufacturing knowledge-based products

 - Helping to commercialize the achievements of established bases

 - Expanding innovation culture through evolving interest and motivation in teachers and students
