FZA Center of Applied Science and Technology is one of the centers affiliated to the Ministry of Industry, Mining, and Trade founded with the aim of knowledge promotion, essential skills development, and flourishing talents in Amol city. This center is supported by the great industrial complex of Fouladin Zob Amol started its operation with the license issued by the Supreme Extension Council of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology titled “Applied Science and Technology Center” including 30 students of associate degree in machine tools in 2003. Due to promoting hardware facilities levels, the center has developed its relevant belongings and increased the number of student admissions; as a result, up to 6800 students have graduated since 18 years ago and now over 750 students are studying at this center. The center facilities include campus complex, Caspian workshop and laboratory complex, library, auditorium, conference hall, sports field, dining hall, copy center, Internet café, supermarket and etc. At the present time, up to 25 staff and 100 professors are working in this center.
